Version 1.1 Patch Notes
So I kind of scrambled to release this game when I did. I had five days left when I did, so I probably didn't need to. But I didn't want to cut it that close and potentially break something important, so I made a few compromises to get the game out.
One of those compromises was that it didn't actually use the PSX shader that I had set up for it. With the way I had it forcing the 4:3 aspect ratio the shader would make all the textures disappear on build, so I just changed them all back to the standard shader.
Hopefully I have the game looking more like a PS1 game now, and that the slight rebalancing that I did didn't break anything.
This will probably be the only update that I push for this game, unless something major is broken that I didn't know about. The game is much more in line with what I originally wanted to make, and I like the way this version looks much better. The original version is still available to play in case you liked that one better, though.
Please enjoy.
Changes/Fixes:
-Removed the timer from the end text screen. You can skip after about a second by pressing any button.
-Added 20 seconds to the ingame timer to make it a full 2 minutes.
-The creature now mutates every 30 seconds.
-Added HPS1RP. Used to change the graphics to something more in line with what I wanted originally (The shader I was using before didn't work right on build with everything else, so I originally had to use the standard shaders).
-Changed the "weapon retracting" animation when you're close to a wall to keep the weapon from clipping through objects (It might still do it sometimes, though).
-Incendiary rounds now destroy the patches on the pipes, same as the regular rounds.
-Dynamic lighting might not be as noticeable as it was due to the change in render pipelines. It's still there, though.
